OLDER people throughout Wales - who fancy dusting off any outstanding ambitions to be in a stage show - are about to be given an opportunity to take part in a traditional variety performance hosted by the famous West End entertainer Peter Karrie.

This unique event, called The Afternoon Show, will tour throughout Wales and forms part of the Gwanwyn festival – an initiative by Age Concern Cymru and the Arts Council of Wales that aims to get as many older people in Wales as possible involved in artistic and creative activities. And it stops at Venue Cymru, Llandudno, on Saturday, April 26 at 2pm.
