The Free Press is launching a search to find the area's top pub.

Pubs are a place to get together and socialise, to celebrate and watch major sporting events or enjoy an evening with friends.

The winning pub will have a day at the races on May 17 for the landlord and landlady and eight regular customers.

The top prize includes a three-course supper with wine and a £10 betting tote voucher.

To give your local the chance to be The Denbighshire Free Press Pub of the Year simply complete the nomination form in this week's edition.

Readers will then be invited to vote for the eventual winners.

If your pub wins you could be one of the lucky regulars going to the races!

Voting forms will appear in the Denbighshire and Corwen, Bala and Llangollen Free Press on March 13, 20 and 27.
