A HOST of world-renowned artists have been unveiled for this year's Festival No.6 'Town Hall' sessions.

Appearing will be No.6 stalwarts The Charlatans, while Tim Burgess and Mark Collins will perform 'stripped-down' versions of a selection of their hits and Everything Everything promise tracks that rarely get a live airing and no cross-over with their main-stage set.

Composer-in-residence Joe Duddell and his classical No.6 ensemble will perform series of reworked orchestral versions of their most important works.

Others on the bill are London-based electronic quartet Haelos and Shadow Party, who will join Duddell and the ensemble for an exclusive performance. Bristolian singer-songwriter Fenne Lily also appears, while Duddell will additionally perform his new Northern Soul and Motown show with Manchester Camarata.

The intimate 'Town Hall' sessions have become a special part of the Portmeirion festival, which runs from September 6-9.
