YOUNGSTERS in Corwen are in the swim!
Next Tuesday, June 28 sees the staging of Corwen Swimming Club's annual gala.
With Corwen Leisure Centre as the setting, the gala will run between 5pm and 7.30pm, with swimmers ranging from six years old up to 15.
Trophies and medals will be awarded to gala winners, while there will be engraved awards for the most dedicated and most improved swimmers from the club.
In addition, there will be a raffle to raise funds for equipment.
On the night, there will be seated spectator area for family and friends to support the swimmers.
A full colour printed programmes kindly sponsored by Fineline Print (Ruthin) and DoodleIT is available and swimmers from outside the Corwen club who have achieved stage six are welcome.
Corwen Swimming Club's usual swimming sessions are held every Tuesday night at the leisure centre between 6pm and 7.30pm.
Some 30 regular swimmers take part and each lane is taught by an ASA qualified coach.

The club is aiming to put together a committee during the coming months.
Voluntary positions will include that of treasurer, secretary and any other coaches wishing to become part of the set-up.
The aim is to create a full club set-up with a view to becoming an accredited club.
