A 20-year-old man has received a three-and-a-half year prison sentence for killing a Mid Wales teenager.
Blaine Daniel Kirkham, of Newtown, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court today (Friday, October 14), charged with the manslaughter of 18-year-old Lewis Clarke during an incident in Llanidloes on July 2.
Kirkham was given a three and a half year jail sentence - three years for manslaughter and six months for three charges of supplying class A drug ecstasy on July 1.
He has already spent 100 days of his sentence on remand.
Mr Clarke died at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital after being airlifted following an incident at a flat in Plynlimon House Longbridge Street.
