Three people taken to hospital after car crash

THREE people have been taken to hospital after a two-car collision in near Newtown.

Firefighters had to cut a man from one of the vehicles involved in the incident on the B4389 at Bettws Cedewain, near Newtown.

Two crews from Newtown were called to the scene at 7.22pm on Thursday, January 19.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said four people were involved, two of whom received medical treatment at the scene.
