TRIBUTES have been paid to a "unique" and "kind-hearted" woman who died following a two vehicle collision in Powys last Wednesday.
Rhian Alysia Jayne Wyn Woolley, 24, was the driver of a Daewoo Matiz when it was involved in the incident on the A470 between Rhayader and Llangurig.
Llanidloes woman Rhian was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Rhian was a unique young woman, an original and kind hearted young woman who was the life and soul of the party," said her mother, Andrea.
She said her daughter had recently discovered her strength in life, working as a carer at Crosfield House in Rhayader.
"Rhian was strong, but also very giving in nature and would do anything for anybody without expecting anything in return," she continued.
"She was a much loved daughter to me and her dad Mark, sister to Owen, Dean and Samuel, a loving girlfriend to Matthew, and beloved granddaughter to Pam, Morris and Wyn."
Her boyfriend, Matthew Evans described her as "fantastic and perfect".
An investigation into the cause of the collision with a black Ford Mondeo is continuing.
Dyfed-Powys Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
