DENBIGH fought the law... and the law won!

The latest round of Llandudno and District Table Tennis League matches saw Police A consolidate third place in Division One.

They achieved this on the back of an emphatic 9-1 win over fifth placed Denbigh A, thanks to  maximums from Marc Pugh and Roger Lee.

Kevin Evans was involved in two five-set thrillers.

He narrowly lost out to Paul Hulme, before coming back from 5-2 down in the decider to edge out Sean Lucas 11-8.

In Division Two, Denbigh B stay top after a 9-1 triumph over their D team.

The match of the night saw Faye Evans overcome Roger Rowett in a five-game thriller.

She shrugged off an 11-0 reversal in game three to become only the second player this season to beat Roger in the league.
