GHOSTHUNTERS claim to have filmed supernatural activity at a historic building.
Members of Spirit Quest UK say that after analysing footage shot at the Cambrian House, Llangollen, a former coaching inn on the old London to Holyhead road, they spotted a number of orbs.
Paranormal experts believe such orbs are evidence of spirits being present.
The group also claims to have recorded other spooky happenings, such as plummeting room temperatures and ghostly singing in the building, which is now a B&B.
Group spokesman Howard Hughes said: “Orbs are thought to be the first level of a spirit’s manifestation. They appear in video and photographs in just about any haunted location.
“Throughout the night, orbs were captured in abundance, people were touched, room temperatures plummeted for no reason, loud knocks were heard, ghostly singing was both heard and recorded along with ghostly footsteps and more.
“The group used a glass and table tipping, both techniques used by spiritualists to make contact with spirits, and were astounded with tables rocking back and forth and the glass swirling around so fast on the table that everyone had a hard job keeping their fingers on it.”
He added: “I believe we have captured on video evidence that may prove once and for all that they are of a paranormal origin.
“Usually you may capture a fleeting orb on its own or maybe a few at once all moving in different directions but in Cambrian House we captured on video two orbs moving in an arc together and in perfect formation.
“This footage is therefore groundbreaking and I am really pleased we managed to obtain it.”
Mr Hughes says footage the group took of what they believe was a ghost in the cellar at Pen Y Lan Hall, near Ruabon, a few months ago has since been seen across the world via the internet.
Members are due to return to the hall on March 3 for a further investigation.

Roger Honey, who has owned the Cambrian House for the past 10 years, said: “Things do happen here that cannot be logically explained.
“It’s a big house and things do creak, but what sound like footsteps have been heard when the place is empty.
“I’ve been upstairs three or four times a day after hearing what I thought were people walking about but there has been no-one there.
“There have been other unexplained things like the cellar door opening on its own after it has been bolted shut.
“We also have one room which is always exceptionally cold.”
