TWO men were injured after a road traffic collision in Llandegla on Bank Holiday Monday.
The incident happened at around 3.20pm on the A5104 involving a collision between a silver Citreon Saxo and a Honda motorbike.
The motorcyclist escaped the accident with arm injuries whilst the driver of the Saxo suffered a neck injury, but none of the injuries sustained were said to be life threatening.
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 3.21pm (Monday) to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision near Lake Hill Fishery in Llandegla, involving a car and a motorcycle.
“A man in his 40s with arm injuries and a man in his 20s with a neck injury were taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”
A rapid response vehicle and two emergency ambulances attended the scene.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said that the road remained blocked until 5.06pm when the carriageway re-opened.
The local highways agency were informed of the incident.
