This year’s  Memorial  Day was celebrated proudly in Denbighshire.

A memorial service was held at the top of town in Denbigh at the cenotaph following a march from brownies, cadets and Denbighshire's
representatives.

AM Ann Jones, Antoinette Sandbach and Denbighshire County Council's chairman, Cllr Raymond Bartley attended the service.

Refreshments were made available for everyone in the town hall.
A march was also held in Ruthin attended by a big crowd on Sunday morning.

Bands entertained the crowds and local organisation laid wreaths at the war memorial with tea and coffee served afterwards.

A parade went through the centre of St Asaph and a two minutes silence was held at the memorial with the laying fo the wreaths.
