CAMPAIGNERS fighting to save their village school have come up with a novel way to highlight their case.

As reported in The Free Press, Denbighshire County Council has decided to close the school down in September.

Hopes for keeping the school open now rest with the Minister of Education, Huw Lewis, to who the camaigners are appealing to reverse the council’s decision.

To highlight their campaign people are being asked to trace an outline of their hand onto a specially designed form.

So far more than a hundred individual hand outlines have been collected.

An outline form is printed in this week's Free Press for people to show their support.
