POLICE are appealing for help after a driver failed to stop following a collision in Denbigh.

On Sunday, February 9, about 7.30pm, a collision occurred on Graig Road just past the turning for Colomendy Industrial Estate in Denbigh.

The driver of a yellow coloured Land Rover Defender was travelling along Graig Road from Denbigh towards Trefnant when a van is believed to have collided with his vehicle.

The wing mirror, driver’s door and window of the defender were damaged as a result of the incident. Nobody is thought to have been injured but the driver of the van failed to stop.

Investigating officer PC 1454 Steve Hooper said: “It is possible that the vehicle involved was the second in a convoy of three that were travelling along the road towards Denbigh town.

“As well as appealing to the driver of the vehicle involved to get in touch, I’d also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, has information or was travelling along Graig Road at the relevant time to contact me at Denbigh on 101.”

Alternatively, individuals with information can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
