NORTH Wales Police have released a number of CCTV images relating to a robbery and people they are tracing for their inquiries.
The pictures were taken in shops in St Asaph, Denbigh and Llangollen.
The first image relates to City News and Video, Chester Street where a robbery
occurred at about 10.30pm on Friday, January 31.
Detectives investigating the robbery are also appealing for information on robberies in two Lifestyle Express stores one in Towyn Road, Kinmel Bay on February 3 before just 8pm and at Lifestyle Express store, Gadlas Lane, Llysfaen on February 6, just after 9.30pm.
The detectives continue to keep an open mind as to whether the three incidents are linked.
"Our inquiries are very much on-going into the incidents," said DI Sion Williams.
"As well as continuing to appeal for witnesses and information, we hope that releasing the CCTV will assist in identifying the individuals we want to trace.
"It's important to keep in perspective that offences of this nature are still uncommon in our communities and although three have taken place in a relatively short time period there has not been an overall increase over the last 12 months.
“Together with our partners and the community we have made some positive strides over this period of time in reducing crime and with their continued support and assistance I'm sure we can identify those responsible and bring them to justice. We urge anyone who may know the identity of those in the images released today to contact us immediately at St Asaph CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
Patrols around retail premises have increased and officers have been liaising with shop owners and staff providing advice.
The police have encouraged them to report immediately any suspicious activity they may see in or around their premises to police, give consideration to the number of staff on duty at key times and ensure that all security systems are in full working order.
If you have any information please contact police on 101 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555111.
