Doggone! Dylan, Max and Bryn claim victory at Crufts

A BALA dog owner came first in Crufts with his three-year-old springer spaniel.

Dylan Thomas, from Llandderfel entered his Welsh springer spaniel, Max, into Crufts 2014 and came first place in the AV spaniel for gamekeepers cup and came third in the overall champion gamekeepers category.

Mr Thomas also came first, second and third in the AV Gundog retired gamekeeper with three-year-old Welsh springer spaniel Bryn, and is pictured with the judges.
Bryn’s kennel name is Bodlon Star Player.

This was Max and Dylan’s third time together in the main ring and came first, second and third in last year’s retired gamekeepers round.

Mr Thomas headed down to Birmingham for the Crufts 2014 show at the beginning of March to compete against hundreds of other applicants and thousands who entered for the best in show.
