Firefighters attend blaze at St Asaph residential home

A FIRE at a residential home in St Asaph was fought by North Wales Fire and Rescue this morning (Monday).

The fire service was called to Bryn Derwen residential home at 4.32 am.

Three appliances attended the scene with two coming from Rhyl and one from St Asaph.

Two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel were used to fight the fire.

The cause of the fire is said to have been an electrical fault and little damage to the home was reported.
