Mother feared for baby's life during assault

A PREGNANT woman feared for the life of her unborn baby when she  was elbowed in her stomach while 26 weeks pregnant.

Laura Priest, 24, was hit while her partner was being beaten by two men in front of her three children.

Speaking after the court case  that saw two men jailed for assaulting her and her partner, she said: “I was really worried for my baby.”
