THE 89th Bala and Penllyn Horticultural Show was held at Canolfan Bro Tegid on Saturday with an increase in exhibits on show.

There were 226 entries throughout the show with an exceptional display of flowers, vegetables, cookery and childrens crafts.

Sue Shepherd won several prizes in the Cookery class and also won the Best Large Garden Competition.

Heledd Davies won several 1st prizes in the cookery class.

Morris Jones was delighted to win 1st prize with his begonia pot plant.

Non Davies won several prizes at the show and won 1st prize with an edible picture.

Lowri Duscalu won Best Exhibit in the Floral Art Class with this lovely display.

Meirion Jones won 1st prize with his winning fuchas pot plant.

Eight year old Daniel Roberts won 1st prize with his miniature garden.
