THE bowlers blazed a trail to ensure it was a successful weekend for St Asaph.
Travelling to Pwllheli in the Premier Division of the North Wales Cricket League, the Saints looked to be in store for a long afternoon when the Gwynedd side made a bright start to their innings.
However, the Elwy Grove Park outfit came storming back and although they had their own trials and tribulations to contend with when batting, they came through for a four-wicket victory.
Mathew Ryan's knock of 72 was the main contribution for St Asaph.
