GARDNER was in great form to make it a successful weekend from a Llangollen perspective. Travelling to Conwy with just 10 men, the Tower Fields side wouldn't have been in confident mood of securing a sixth North Wales Cricket League Division Three success of the summer. But a superb knock from Luke Gardner laid the foundations for Llan's impressive 8-2 points success, which moves them to within sight of the promotion places. Full report in Wednesday's Free Press.
