ST ASAPH 164-9 MENAI BRIDGE 165-5
ONE more win should preserve St Asaph's Premier Division status for another season. The Saints' North Wales Cricket League slump continued with Saturday's home loss at the hands of title favourites Menai Bridge, but the Elwy Grove Park outfit were competitive throughout the contest and in the end a slow start did for their hopes of achieving a notable victory. The Anglesey outfit got home with five wickets to spare and the result leaves St Asaph 19 points above the drop zone with two games left to play. For the full report see this week's Free Press.
