THE final show in this year’s run of wrestling events is taking place this weekend.

Britannia Wrestling Promotions (BWP) has been winning new fans all year with more events than ever before at Denbigh Town Hall and the season is due to end with a bang on Saturday, November 21.

BWP owner and founder Steve Saxon promised a night of “action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled family entertainment”.

He said: “BWP runs shows across the length and breadth of North and Mid Wales all year long but Denbigh is always the place we love to return to.

“The fans here are amazing, they emotionally invest in our shows and superstars, and this year has proven that Denbigh is the epicentre of Welsh wrestling as we increased shows from two annual shows per year to monthly shows.

“The turnout from local fans has been spectacular and increase with each show we host.”

This Saturday night there are seven scheduled matches taking place including stars such as The Babyface Pitbull, Ruffneck, the League of Violence, Keith Myatt and Big Grizzly.
