WELL, that was timed rather well!

It's back-to-back North Wales Cricket League Premier Division triumphs for Denbigh on the back of their well-timed four-wicket success at home to Mochdre.

The Ystrad Road side comfortably got over the winning line with 27 balls to spare and it was a real team effort as Denbigh moved up to sixth in the standings.

Denbigh will have been pleased to have dismissed their opponents for 169 with two deliveries of the 50 overs remaining.

Joe Lewis was the chief wicket grabber courtesy of his 3-21 return from 12 overs.

Andy Clarke and Stuart Griffiths were pivotal to Denbigh's successful chase during the second portion of the afternoon.

Batting at number four and five respectively, Clarke struck 40 during the chase, while Griffiths managed to top score with his knock of 47.
