SIX neighbours in Denbigh have scooped a huge prize.
The residents won the People’s Postcode Lottery’s Daily Prize thanks to their postcode LL16 3NT.
Five of the Bryn Stanley residents who play with the postcode have scooped £1,000 each. The sixth played with two tickets and so the prize was doubled to £2,000.
Danyl Johnson, People’s Postcode Lottery Ambassador, said: “Congratulations to our Denbigh players. It’s great to see so many neighbours winning together - it’s what it’s all about.”
A minimum of 30 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £197 million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
A cause that has received support from players is Glyndwn Women’s Aid, which was awarded £10,000 last year for an allotment project, giving women and children a safe space to support each other, learn new skills and take part in activities.
