Children in Denbigh have had a magical May Bank Holiday weekend thanks to a high street business.

Daisy's Milk Parlour held a Harry Potter themed School of Wizardry on Saturday which saw more than 40 children take part, with every session a sell out.

Milk Parlour owner, Tina Griffiths, said children made the journey from as far away as Flint and Prestatyn to take part in the day and it was such a success she is already considering running another one.

Ms Griffiths said: "The children had a magical time, they enjoyed every minute and were fascinated by their experiments, seeing their faces light up made it so magical and all worth while, even the parents enjoyed themselves.

"We have had a lot of requests to run another Harry Potter School of Wizardry, so we're hoping to run another one during the next half term week."

Parents have taken to the Daisy's Milk Parlour Facebook page following the event to thanks Ms Griffiths and her team for the fantastic event.

Phillip Allington, on the parlour's Facebook page, said: "Well done Daisy's, a great idea for the kids. Kind of wish I was a kid again. Let me know if you come up with a potion for that."

Heddwen Jones-Gunes, in a review, said: "Fantastic Harry Potter themed party for the twins, so well organised and magical. Highly Recommend."

Hazel Lewis said: "Would like to say thank you very much for the Harry Potter day. My daughter and niece loved it and so did I. Thank you."

The theme has proved such a hit Ms Griffith said she is now looking to introduce it as one the businesses party package themes.

She said: "The day was a huge success and ran very smoothly.

"A very big thank you to everyone."
