A nature day is being held in Denbighshire as part of Wales Nature Week.
Denbighshire County Council along with Bionet, the Wales Biodiversity Partnership and The Friends of Nantclwyd y Dre are hosting the event on Saturday, June 9 between 10am and 5pm, in the historic gardens of Nantclwyd y Dre, Ruthin.
Along with free face painting, the family-focused nature day will showcase the fantastic conservation work carried out in North Wales with talks and activities throughout the day including moth trapping, a talk on wildlife gardening and a bat talk in the evening.
The event is part of the Council’s work to ensure the environment is both attractive and protected as well as supporting community well-being.
Admission to the event is £2 per person with under fives being admitted for free.
