A PROPERTY associated with long-term antisocial behaviour has been closed for three months.
North Wales Police applied for a Closure Order for the property, at 9, Pen-y-Graig, Denbigh which was granted by Llandudno Magistrates Court after evidence highlighted the property was associated with drug-related antisocial behaviour over a prolonged period of time.
The order will be active from May 23 until August 22, during which time access will only be permitted to the named occupant and Denbighshire County Council.
Inspector Andy Kirkham, at Denbigh Police Station, said: “The Courts have fully supported our application for a Closure Order on a premises that was attracting individuals intent on disrupting the lives of the vast majority of law abiding citizens.
“I am particularly pleased as the community worked together with us and helped provide information to help us make an application to the courts.
“North Wales Police will relentlessly pursue those individuals who cause harm within our communities and this type of behaviour will not be tolerated.”
