Supporting women in agriculture

WOMEN have always played a pivotal role in the development and sustainability of Welsh farming.

The Welsh Government, through the Farming Connect programme, has made a commitment to support women working in agriculture in order to develop their skills, their expertise and their confidence.

They recognise the key role women play in the development of many agricultural businesses.

A women in agriculture forum is being held in North Wales next week.

It will take place at Bangor on Dee Racecourse next Thursday, June 21.

This forum runs between 3 and 9pm.
