FORMER European Cup winners could soon be playing host to the Lakesiders.

Romanian giants FC Steaua Bucure?ti will play host to Bala Town in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League... as long as Colin Caton's side manage to win through two earlier ties.

If Bala Town see off San Marino outfit Tre Fiori in the preliminary round of the UEFA Europa League, they will face Slovenian PrvaLiga Rudar Velenje in the first qualifying round.

Should Bala get through that tough two-legged encounter, they will travel to the 55,000 capacity Arena Na?ional? in Bucharest.

FC Steaua Bucure?ti won the 1986 European Cup, beating Barcelona on penalties, and last season they finished as runners-up in Romania's Liga I.

They ended up four points adrift of champions CFR Cluj.

FC Steau Bucure?ti are managed by Nicolae Dic? and the second qualifying round ties will be played on July 26 and August 2.

Back to the preliminary round and Bala's home leg versus SP Tre Fiori will be played at Rhyl on Thursday, July 5 (6.30pm).

Home supporters must buy tickets prior to entry to the ground via Rhyl’s ticket office on the day of the match.

Tickets will be on sale from mid-afternoon, costing £10 for adults and £5 concessions / U-16s.
