A MAN has been airlifted to hospital following a crash in Denbigh.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a one-vehicle crash on Ruthin Road, Denbigh around 12.19pm yesterday forced the closure of the road as police and ambulance services attended the scene.
A man involved in the crash has been airlifted to hospital in Stoke by the Air Ambulance with serious injuries.
The road was reopened after 3.30pm.
North Wales Police has now launched an appeal for witnesses of the incident.
Sergeant Raymond Williams of the Roads Policing Unit said: “We are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or anybody who may have seen the white VW Golf that was travelling along the A525 towards the direction of Ruthin prior to the collision to contact us.”
