TEAM boss Colin Caton remains confident that his Bala Town team can still make progress in this season's UEFA Europa League.
The Lakesiders trail San Marino's Tre Fiori 3-0 after their preliminary round first leg encounter at Stadio Tullo Morgagni last Thursday.
An early Anthony Miley own goal, plus first half strikes from Giacomo Pracucci and Mirco Vassalo, mean that Bala have it all to do in the second leg, which will be played at Rhyl FC's Corbett Sports Stadium tonight (6.30pm).
Looking ahead to the second leg, the Bala boss stressed: "I will be disappointed if we don't get more than one or two goals in front at half-time."
Caton said his side was superior fitness-wise compared to Tre Fiori over the course of last week's first leg and he is hoping that the referee will be able to clamp down hard on any potential time-wasting from the visitors.
