FIRE crews are continuing to tackle a blaze near Llangollen.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to a mountainside in Llantysilio around 2.20pm yesterday afternoon.

The blaze had been taken under control by firefighters yesterday evening but has reignited.

A spokesman for the fire and rescue service has said two appliances are currently at the scene, one from Wrexham and one from Mold, as well as an off road fire engine for Llangollen.

It is not yet known what has caused the blaze.
