A MUSIC festival hosting some of North Wales' finest music artists has raised thousands for charity.
Graig Aid, in Graigfechan, near Ruthin, was attended by over 400 people on Saturday-Sunday, July 20-21 to enjoy a strong line-up of North Wales artists from the acoustic celtic and folk of Two Black Sheep to the modern indie pop of Denbigh-born Martyn Peters, who was recently played on BBC's Radio 6.
The festival, which aims to produce an affordable high quality music festival in a beautiful venue, provide opportunities for existing and new musicians to perform, and to raise funds for charities.
All artists performed for free and helped to raise around £4,000, which will be donated to various organisations in the area.
These include Cawl a Chan Dementia Carers Support Group in Corwen, St John's First Responders in Ruthin, Ysgol Brynhyfryd's music department, Zoe's Place Children's Hospice, Marie Curie, Ruthin Panto Society, and a defibrillator for the village of Graigfechan.
