FIREFIGHTERS remain at the scene of a massive mountainside blaze which has significantly 'scaled down' in recent days.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service was first called to the grass fire at Llangollen on July 19 and crews have maintained a presence as the site ever since.
This morning a spokesman for the fire and rescue service confirmed one appliance and an incident comment unit remains at the scene and firefighters continue to tackle small pockets of fire.
The spokesman added the blaze has also 'scaled down' significantly over the weekend.
