A NATIONAL title has gone the way of a Vale of Clwyd competitor.
Due to work commitments and the location of competitions, Dyffryn Clwyd Footgolf Centre players can't always attend national events in the numbers they would like.
However, yesterday with the UK Footgolf Association super series being a fairly local event at Cannock, a magnificent seven players attended from the Llanfwrog centre.
It turned out to be a terrific day, with Jenny Broughall continuing with her great form in the club league by winning the ladies event in Cannock.
She finished her competition on even.
Other Dyffryn Clwyd scores: Stu Paisley -1; Rhys Williams -1; Bleddyn Jones +2; Ian Cox +3; Stephen Grant +8; Rachel Paisley +14.
Following the competition, Dyffryn Clwyd now look forward to their last league game of the season.
They will be taking on Styal Footgolf, with the target being to conclude the campaign with a 100 per cent winning record.
