A TANKER worth £20,000 has been stolen from a farm.
The overnight theft of a 3,000 gallon slurry tanker has taken place in Trefor, near Llangollen.
It is understood that CCTV footage shows a tractor towing the huge tanker along the A539 from Llangollen, towards Ruabon at around 1.40am on Monday, August 20.
Slurry tankers are used to gather animal waste and other unusable organic matter to make fertiliser.
Tanker owner Wilson Brothers Contractors has pleaded for nearby residents to "keep your eyes peeled".
North Wales Police are also appealing for information. A spokesperson said: "We received a call at 9.05am to report a stolen slurry tanker.
"The incident took place on a farm in Trefor, near Llangollen and it is believed to have happened overnight.
"The tanker is red with Wilson Bros printed in white on the side.
"Anyone with information should call 101 and quote W117991."
