A SEARCH for a person with a shotgun has been conducted after reports of a disturbance in Rhyl.
The incident is believed to have happened in the early hours of the morning, at a building in John Street.
A flat search is being carried out this morning. Eyewitnesses have said armed police have been at the scene.
One eye-witnesses told the Journal: "They (police) stated there had been a report of a disturbance in a building in John street.
"Then they had a report that the person had a shot gun."
North Wales Police tweeted: "John Street, #Rhyl, is now open. We were dealing with a threat made to an individual in the area.
"No one has been hurt and no arrests made. If you saw any suspicious activity in the area."
