STORM Ali is battering the North Wales Coast.

There have been reports of traffic restrictions and ferry cancellations, as well as power cuts across the area.

The Met Office have issued a warning for Wednesday, September 19 between 6am and 10pm.

Ali is bringing a spell of very windy weather with gusts of 50-60 mph possible inland.

Restrictions for bikes, motorcycles and caravans have been placed on Britannia Bridge over the Menai Straits.

Traffic Wales has tweeted: "Restrictions in place on A55 Britania Bridge.

“Winds are expected to get stronger and there may be a chance of increased restrictions.”

Meanwhile in Anglesey, all swift fast craft ferry sailings have been cancelled on Irish Ferries between Holyhead and Dublin.

A power cut has also occurred in Bethesda, with power expected to return this afternoon.

The Met Office has also issued a yellow warning for rain between 4am and 10pm on Thursday, September 19.
