A SERIES of road closures has been forced by strong winds.
As Storm Ali rages on, three roads near Ruthin and Denbigh have been closed whilst authorities tackle the effects of the weather.
The routes affected include the country lane from Bontuchel to Cyffylliog, which has been blocked by a fallen tree.
Roads leading from Llanrhaedr to Graig Llwyd, and from Plas Coch Bach Junction to Hendrewydd Crossroads in Gellifor have also been closed.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for today (September 19) with inland wind speeds of up to 60mph possible.
A spokesperson for Denbighshire County Council said: “We are currently working to resolve the issues and are advising motorists to take care."
