THE Bay Gallery in Colwyn Bay is hosting an exhibition by Alison Hughes entitled: Coming out of the Shadows.
Alison excels in pastel portraits of wild animals, and her daughter, Amber, enhanced the art with poems for each painting. We had non stop sales making it our most successful evening. Originals, prints and cards are on sale until 26th October.
The open evening at the gallery in Station Road, last Friday was attended by the Mayor of Colwyn Bay, Councillor Steve Williams.
Gallery spokesperson Brenda Guinn said: “Alison excels in pastel portraits of wild animals. Alison’s daughter Amber enhanced the art with her poems for each painting. Since then we’ve had non stop sales of her originals, prints and postcards, making it our most successful evening. Originals, prints and cards remain on sale until 26th October.”
