After the success of last year’s event, Denbigh in Bloom organiser are reaching out to all local business owners, groups and clubs who would be interested in contributing towards this year’s floral displays.

Chair Lyndsey Tasker said that sponsoring a planter was not only a fantastic way to contribute to the community, it was a very effective advertising method too.

“As we are a voluntary community group, we rely entirely on funding to enable us to give the town beautiful floral displays.

“This year, the project has grown and we are adding another tiered planter in the High Street, along with hanging baskets up Vale Street. The plants we are using are higher quality to ensure beautiful blooms throughout summer.

“The local primary schools, nursery and residential home are all involved again this year. Everyone is very excited to be involved in growing the plants for the containers,” she added.

You do not have to sponsor a basket, there are other ways of making a contribution to this project.

Anyone wishing to get involved in anyway, would like further details or a sponsorship form, can contact Lyndsey Tasker on 01745 814235.
