A controlled fire on the Horse Shoe Pass led to the fire service having to attend the scene.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service had been informed that there was going to be a controlled fire on the hills above Llangollen on Monday.
The fire service were called ot the scene just after five o’clock on Monday with an appliance and off road vehicle attending from LLangollen.
Further assistance was provided by crews from Chirk and Wrexham.
The incident ended just after seven on Monday evening.
