Denbigh salon wins hair and beauty award

A DENBIGH salon is celebrating after winning a Welsh Hair and Beauty Award.

The Double Crown hair salon, located on Bridge Street, came away with the North East Wales Hair Salon of the Year at an event held at the Cardiff City stadium on Sunday, July 13.

Tracey Miller, owner at Double Crown, said: “I was so pleased to have been nominated for the award, It was an incredible surprise to be announced as regional winners.

“We have all worked hard and I would like to thank my dedicated team for all of there hard work and support, and i look forward to the year ahead.”

The salon won the award for gaining the most nominations in their category, and they will be holding a special evening to celebrate their achievement in the near future.

Sandra Vaughan, chief executive of Fake Bake UK, one of the sponsors at the awards, said: “We had a great night at this year’s awards and enjoyed the opportunity to share in the successes of the elite hair and beauty professionals Wales has to offer.”
