PREPARATIONS are well under way for one of the biggest agricultural shows in North Wales.
The Denbigh and Flint Show will take place on Denbigh Green tomorrow, (August 21).
Attractions include the food festival with cookery demonstrations from Graham Tinsley and an array of locally produced foods.
There will also be hundreds of tradestands, vintage machines and classic cars, livestock – cattle, sheep, goats, horses including BSJA Show Jumping.
One of the main attractions will be the Adrenaline Tour Quad Bike Show which will see some of the UK’s top quad bike stunt riders flying over 30ft high on a 70ft ramp to ramp, whilst performing tricks.
One of the stars of the stunt show, Jason Smyth was looking forward to the show.
He said: “I’m really looking forward to the show. It’s my first time and it looks like here and it’s going to be a great show. It’s huge for a one day show. This has to be one of the biggest in this country that I have been to.”
Philip Eyton-Jones, honorary showground director, said he was excited about the day and preparations had run smoothly.
"We've had a very good start in decent weather since preparations began in July.
"The team we've got putting the marquees up and the fence posts in have been getting on well and then this week the exhibitors started rolling in.
"The only thing that's been off is the weather this week, but the sun and wind in between the showers has been helping to dry everything up quickly.
"We've got some very good exhibits lined up and we're expecting a good crowd."
