A MAN from the Denbigh area is reported to be in a stable condition after a crash on the A541 last week.
At 9pm on Thursday, August 21, a two vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the A541 Bodfari road near the cross roads to Denbigh Green.
One of the vehicles and the pedestrians were travelling towards Trefnant from the direction of Bodfari when the collision occurred.
Two of the pedestrians, a man aged 30 and another aged 24, were taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in Stoke.
One of the men has been named locally as Dion Davies from the Denbigh area.
A spokesman for the hospital described his condition as “stable”.
The condition of the second man has not been confirmed by the hospital. Police described his injuries as life threatening after the crash.
Two rapid response vehicles, a BASICS doctor and three emergency ambulances attended the crash.
The third pedestrian was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and he was later released having sustained minor injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting reference number R131343.
