Woman trapped in car after crash on A525 at Llandegla

EMERGENCY services attended a collision in Llandegla.

The fire and ambulance service service was called to the collision on the A525 at 8.28am on Monday.           

Appliances from Ruthin and Wrexham were been sent to the scene and to free a woman trapped inside a car.

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.23am this morning to reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision at the top of Nant y Garth Pass.

"We responded with a Rapid Response Vehicle and an Emergency Ambulance and an adult female was conveyed to Wrexham Maelor Hospital for a check-up.”
