A CRUSADING occasion will help the Lakesiders prepare for their European adventure.
Bala Town last week announced that they will be playing Northern Irish outfit Crusaders prior to their European ties.
The Hatchetmen are current Danske Bank Premier League Champions and have qualified for the 2016/17 Champions League. Based in Belfast, the Crusaders are managed by Stephen Baxter, who has been in charge since 2005.
This will be the first time that the Lakesiders will face Irish opposition and it is an exciting fixture to look forward to.
The game will take place on Saturday, June 25 at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium, Airbus with a 3pm kick-off.
Bala Town have confirmed another two pre-season friendlies ahead of the new Welsh Premier League campaign.
On Saturday, July 23 Colin Caton's charges will travel to The Oval to face Huws Gray Alliance champions Caernarfon Town.
The teams faced each other in theWord Cup last season, with the Canaries coming out on top and Bala will be looking forward to facing Iwan Williams' men once again.
Kick-off will be at 2.30pm.
A week before this and Bala will be facing another Cymru Alliance outfit in the form of Gresford Athletic.
The Wrexham based side finished sixth in the league last season and the Lakesiders will be making the trip to Clappers Lane on Friday, July 15 for a 7.30pm kick-off.
In addition to this, Bala's game against Llandudno prior to the Europa League has now been moved to Tuesday, June 14, with a 7.30pm kick-off.
