A man has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A525.
A Renault is understood to have collided with a telegraph pole.
The incident happened at around 12.15pm with the road reopened by 3.30pm.
The telegraph pole has also been removed from the road.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We received a call at 1218 reporting a one vehicle road traffic collision on the A525 near Fisheries, Llandegla. A Renault has collided with a telegraph pole.
"The Welsh Ambulance Service are in attendance. The road is blocked in both directions."
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We were called at approximately 12.20pm to reports of a one-vehicle road traffic collision in the Llandegla area of Wrexham.
"We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene, and one man was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
"His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening."
