A man was shocked to find a new driveway wall at his home had been demolished.
But Paul Carter, 30, was completely astonished when he checked the CCTV.
The footage showed a BMW car being used like a bull-dozer to flatten the boundary wall at his rented home near Ruthin, North Wales.
"My blood ran cold," he said.
The footage shows the car being driven back and forwards a number of time - seemingly deliberately knocking the wall down.
It has now been handed over to North Wales Police and Paul, who runs an outdoor centre, says he cannot believe it.
"He's lost the plot obviously," he said of the driver.
Paul together with his fiancee and his dog have lived at the rented property near Llanbedr Hall, LLanbedr, for 18 months.
The new driveway wall was built at the expense of his landlord. But now it is smashed to smithereens.
Paul says he believes he knows who could be responsible and has given a name to the police.
"I do fear for our safety. I don't know why he has done it.
"I am scared what he will do next," he said.
He said that he hoped the police would sort it out quickly.
Local Councillor Huw Williams says he is concerned for public safety in the area.
"It is getting a bit much when walls are being rammed with a car," he said.
He had also been in touch with the police and hoped the matter would be resolved.
