The Open Gardens at Tal y Bryn, Llannefydd, raised £2,500 for Gofal Dydd y Waen Day Care Centre - an entirely voluntary Day Care centre and offers twice weekly day care, community meals, podiatry, music therapy and complementary therapies.

They have to raise £40,000 in 2023 to remain open and to support people of all ages living with serious illness such as stroke, MS, Parkinsons Disease, motor neuron disease, cancer and dementia.

Hundreds of people visited the beautiful gardens at Tal y Bryn, which is the home of Gareth and Falmai Roberts, and enjoyed the delicious tea and cakes as well as supporting the many stalls and raffles.

Denbigh Rotary Club stewarded the event.

The volunteers at Gofal Dydd wish to thank everyone who supported this wonderful event and special thanks to Lynne Jones who made 100 delicious cup cakes to sell and Allan Evans who bought lovely bunches of sweet peas from his garden.

The next fundraiser will be the Christmas Market on November 25.
